TED talks.
Have you heard of them?
My sister sent me TED talk one day that she thought might interest me and from there I was intrigued. Short to moderate in length, there is a talk from a specialist in almost any field, on almost any topic you are interested in.
TED is a global set of conferences owned by the private non-profit Sapling Foundation, under the slogan “ideas worth spreading”. TED was founded in 1984 as a one-off event. TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with two annual conferences — the TED Conference on the West Coast each spring, and the TEDGlobal conference in Edinburgh UK each summer — TED includes the award-winning TED Talks video site, the Open Translation Project and TED Conversations, the inspiring TED Fellows and TEDx programs, and the annual TED Prize.

Why am I telling you about it?
Because I find the TED talks interesting, thought provoking and inspiring. I have got the app on my ‘idevice’ and I save the talks that interest me for later viewing.

Basically I have shared with you because these ‘talks’ are too good to be kept secret. I hope you get some enjoyment out of TED.
